I’ve been in almost every school show, both on and backstage. Every time I wasn’t in rehearsal I would be building sets. I was even given an award for being an outstanding student in the theater. To paraphrase my high school teacher Gregg Sawyer’s speech before announcing the award “You tell her something to do and she says ‘On it’ and does it.” Recently since graduating high school I’ve been on the management

team of most of the shows I’ve participated in so far in college as

assistant stage manager or a production assistant.
